What’s the method of borehole drilling?
There are various borehole drilling methods that can be used, and the best option will depend on the ground conditions, applications, and other factors.
The most common drilling methods are air rotary drilling, cable tool drilling, auger drilling, down the hole drilling, reverse circulation drilling and mud rotary drilling. You may contact our engineer to guide you on your best choice.
How does a drilling machine work?
The drilling machine uses the drilling bit rotated at high speed to cut through the ground. As the drill bits drill deeper, a casing is installed into the borehole to prevent the collapse. Once the desired depth is drilled, a screen should be installed at the bottom of the borehole.
How to choose a suitable drilling rig?
When you select a drilling rig, you are advised to counsel the professional personnel because every drilling equipment is designed for specific applications and conditions. Such factors below should be taken into consideration at choosing a suitable rig: hole size, depth, rock type and mineralogy, drilling methods, power source, rig specification and performance, etc.
Which method is the most effective for water well drilling?
There are two main methods for water well drilling: cable tool percussion and rotary drilling, and rotary drilling is the most common way, it can be air flush, mud flush or reverse circulation depending on your ground condition. For rocky ground, the fastest way is to use the DTH rig and air compressor, and for soil, clay and sand conditions, the best drilling method is mud drilling with mud pump.

How long would it take to finish my order of drilling rigs?
It depends on your order quantity, for most standard drilling rigs, we have prepared stock, which can be delivered 5-7 days after receiving the balance payment. For customized rigs, the common lead time is 2-3 weeks.
